Ultimate Reset Day 2 No Caffeine
Ultimate Reset Day 2 No Caffeine makes me a Grumpy Gal
Ultimate Reset Day 2 No Caffeine (I’m Grumpy Gal)
We recommend starting Ultimate Reset on a Wednesday if you’re a Monday – Friday kinda person because days 3 – 5 tend to be pretty brutal on most people. If you’re not a Monday – Friday type of person, then adjust with the understanding that most struggle with days 3 – 5. Me? I am special. I started being grumpy on Day 2. Well, not really…I mean I’m not postal or anything (yet) I am just short on patience right now. I’m grumpy. Giving up all of my favorite vices in one fell swoop is difficult at best. No caffeine. No exercise. No caffeine. No binge eating. No white wine. No caffeine. Did I mention no caffeine? (I’ll get into that topic more later…). Anyhoooooo, it’s okay that I don’t have the kids this weekend as my patience appears to have left the building. It’s an odd sensation, really. Knowing that I am totally overreacting yet not being able to easily reign that in. A lot of deep breathing exercises (which the guide book says is a good idea anyway, if you’re grumpy. Er, emotional. Yeah, that’s the word).
Grumpy Toxins Releasing
A side effect of the Ultimate Reset is how the toxins leave your body. This will vary between people but the toxins are coming out one way or another. For me they’re leaving in the form that leaves me feeling tired (and grumpy). Others will have pain, aches, headaches, and their skin may breakout. Some have very light to no symptoms and others have more severe symptoms–it all varies and may have a lot to do with your lifestyle prior to beginning Reset.
Happy Food
You might be wondering about the food. One made-up word for ya: YUMMOLICIOUS!! I mean..check out the pictures! I forgot to take a picture of today’s breakfast but it was yummy oatmeal. The food does NOT make me grumpy. The food is plentiful! I’ve only been hungry when it’s been time to eat and I’m loving that sensation.
Caffeine
<<sigh>> I miss my caffeine which makes sense as it is a drug and is addictive. I found that I have been stuffing myself with caffeine instead of food. I would hit that point in my day (you know the point(s) in your day–when you’re super tired and want to put your head on your desk and nap) and I’d drink an energy drink. In reality, I probably just needed a healthy snack or to eat a meal but I’d mask it with caffeine. When I sat down to breakfast yesterday (day 1) the meal in front of me was worth more in calorie count than my entire’s day’s consumption from the day before. That’s how bad it got. I am struggling with not having it–not gonna lie–and read that I may have a green tea if needed. I did take advantage of that today and felt MUCH better after. Psychological? Definitely. Physical? Probably.
