My name is Stacey. I am an almost 40 year old mom with two boys and they are probably going to come in here this is like the 80th time I have tried to shoot this video without interruption. I don’t live a life without interruption.
Okay, the question tends to come up of, “Why do people quit P90X?” My question is, “Why do people start it?”

Enjoy the video and click to read more below…

When you get into a program like: P90X | TurboFire | Insanity | ChaLEAN Extreme
Those programs are pretty intense. And if you can hang on to the reason why you began it. What inspired you to get into that infomercial and pick up the phone and call? What prompted you to go to https://commitment2fitness.com and order one of those programs? How did my success inspire you to want to do more and be more? Or somebody else who had success? What have you read? What got you into doing it?
If you can hang on to that, chances are you can finish and be successful.

The first hurdle: Discipline (mostly the creation of it)

Many of us that get into those kinds of programs live a life that really does not have a lot of discipline. We eat what we want, when we want. We drink what we want, when we want. We may or may not sleep very well. Exercise when it fits in, but “Oh my gosh, I am so busy! I don’t have time to work out. You don’t understand.”
And you go from all the excuses. You go from all the garbage, into a disciplined program where you make the time. You pay attention to what you eat. You learn about nutrition. You force yourself to get educated and go to bed on time because you know you are going to get your butt kicked some program the next day. Or you worked out so hard today that you are exhausted and you need to get some rest so your body can recover.

You go from a relatively undisciplined life into a very disciplined life. That’s a big shock for many people because many people just do not have the discipline.

The Brain Game and its long-lasting effects

That’s another big challenge with these P90X programs, Insanity, and TurboFire. People that have accomplished or graduate from one of those programs have often changed enough in those 60 and 90 days to where they become on a new lifetime journey. They just want to get better, be better, do more. If you have somebody in your life that you think is nuts and you could never be that person. “They drank the Kool-Aid…”

Do a program. Graduate. Watch what your mind does. Experience the morph that your body goes through. It’s AMAZING!

The physical transformations are real. You have seen the infomercials. It’s the Mental Game, it’s pushing yourself harder than you have every pushed yourself before

The physical transformations are real. You have seen the infomercials. It’s the Mental Game, it’s pushing yourself harder than you have every pushed yourself before and Winning!
It is making those changes from eating the foods you used to eat, to eating a new menu plan; and lovin’ it. It’s looking at yourself in the mirror and not being overwhelmed with disgust and self-hatred. Looking at yourself and seeing the improvements and seeing the progress; being able to love yourself form the inside out. That is what pushes us to continue and do and do and do… and go from one program to another. We are not fitness junkies. We love the life these programs give.
3:35 What’s a Coach?  And why do we need one?
Get a coach, get a beachbody coach.  One should be assigned to you when you get a program. Reach out to them. Connect with them, and let them help you through the program, the hard times, and a kick in the butt when you need that too.
4:35 Do Your Best… And forget the rest
If you think you can do these programs, YOU CAN!  It will be enough. You will improve. You will live life to the fullest. Keep in mind it might take you 90/120/150… keep at it. You are worth it. Remember why you bought the program.  Hang your suit, swimsuit, dress where you can see it everyday.  Keep your reminders where you can see them to stay motivated and remember where you came from.
