I'm a 44-year old mom of 2 boys that are 10 & 7. I built my business while working full time and have my own business with Beachbody...a company that changed my life for the best. I love to point out the obvious. People amuse and amaze me. I have a cape and tights that I typically misplace but I'll leap from the tall building anyway, and figure it out on my way down. The joy in life is the journey.

Happy New Year?

http://www.Commitment2Fitness.com I’m jumping on board the enthusiasm train and riding the wave of excitement and using January 1st to launch me into some new behaviors, attitudes, and beliefs. You feel me? Why wouldn’t ya, right?

So many resolve. So many wake up on January 1st and think that the skills, dedication, plan, and desire will magically be there. Let me go all Dr. Phil on you for a moment but…how’s that working for you? I’m going on a limb here but I’m fairly certain there’s no Motivation Fairy or Determination Fairy and, if it’s to be done, it’s to be done by you and with purpose. It’s to be done by finding your dream, then breaking it into goals, then breaking it into daily activities.

If you have the desire and I have the skills, I’ll share what I know with you. I’ve got hundreds of people here to support, encourage, educate and push you. Just say the word.

Perfection? Not a chance. Improvement? Absolutely.

Let’s do this, okay? Allow me the honor of helping you on your journey. Let’s make 2013 different than all the others and the launching pad for some great years to come.

Happy New Year!

New Year’s Resolutions. Need help? Say yes!

It’s nearly the new year and many people get all whackadoo with resolutions and decide that the next year is going to be different than the previous year but don’t make a plan to make it happen. They think they’re going to wake up on January 1st and simply will their way to success.

Let me know how that works out for you.

I’ve got hundreds of people banding together to make their dream a reality. Won’t you join us? Aren’t you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Annoyed with stepping over the piles of clutter on your floor and in your minds? Annoyed with your clothing STILL not fitting correctly even though it’s been on your wish list every year?

It doesn’t have to be like that. Not anymore. Not ever again, actually.

Come join us and learn life skills. This isn’t a diet. This isn’t a 90-day thing. This is your life we’re talking about and I’m tired of playing around. Let’s get serious. Let’s get a plan together. Let’s link arms and GO FOR IT.

If you’re ready I’m all in. Let’s do it!

Asylum Game Day What Stresses you? How do you cope?

Asylum Game Day is today!

Good News: Beachbody Products like Energy & Endurance or Results & Recovery Work!

Bad News: When you forget to order and have run out, working out is much different.

Searched all over the house for packets for both of us to use.

Asylum is good not only for getting better at sport activities but for STRESS.

When you are stressed out-how do you cope with it? What are your triggers that stress out? It’s important to know the answer to these people.

Before I would hibernate and stay away from communicating with all people. Now, I use Personal Development, journaling and workout!

What do you do when you are stressed out?

Insanity Asylum Vertical Plyo Comfort Zones. Get out :)

Today is “Stay in Your Pajamas Day” but does not mean I skip my workout.

When we went from Body Beast to Asylum there was only a day in between. Maybe not the best decision I made. Why? Those two workouts are very intense. Yesterday I did Relief and it made me feel so much better.

Today’s workout is Vertical Plyo. “You have to get down to get down.”

Good News: 10 Days in-1 inch off. Can you say these programs work?! In Body Beast, I added inches to my waist and it was not all muscle…which was frustrating. Asylum is obviously taking care of this 🙂 I am able to shred out and see some definition.

Message of Today: Comfort zones are very comfy but if you stay, you are not going to grow! We should all try to grow.

Insanity Asylum: Relief I do not do stretching.

Good Morning-today is Asylum Relief!

I have to be honest-I skip stretching. I skip it all day long. I don’t know if I skip stretching because my flexibilty sucks. Or does my flexibilty suck because I skip stretching.

What do you think?

Shaun T says doing relief more often is a good thing. It’s difficult for me to do something that I am not good at. Like everything else, the more I do it, the better I get at it. With that…I promise to do more stretching.

Insanity Asylum Need help? Reach out.

2 for Tuesday KILLS me.

Yesterday we did Insanity Asylum Speed and Agility in the Morning. Then at Fit Club we did Insanity Pure Cardio and Insanity Insane Abs. Let’s just say last night we were a sweaty mess!

Needless to say, it’s been harder to get going and get today’s workout done! Thankfully, today is Asylum Strength!

Message of the Day: This week, I have learned that if I need something from someone, it’s my responsibilty to ask that person. It’s ridiculous to expect a person to know you need them without saying something to them. It’s not okay for me to be mad at a person who has not reached out to you. You need to reach out to a person and let them know you need them. Once you do that and they don’t reach out-yes you can be mad.

So if you need something from someone-reach out to them!
