Body Beast Shoulders Workin’ Out With Men

Today is one of my favorite workouts-SHOULDERS! I love that I have my workout sheets to keep track(with smiley and frown faces) of what I did last time. Tomorrow is REST DAY(YAY!!).

Nutrtiton yesterday was good. I had four meals and increased my carbs like I was suppose to. (Reading those guides are so helpful!)

One of the most important thing I want to pass on is this “When lifting, form matters most!” Keep an eye on your form at all times. We use mirrors to make sure to keep great form.

Thought I would touch on the supplements…I am doing all of them. I like them especially because I am starting to see definition and tone.

Last thought…Working out with men I thought I would be insecure. Frankly though I am more comfortable with my body image working out with men than I was working out with women with like Turbo Fire.

Body Beast Back & Bis Women You Can Lift & Be Feminine

Back and Biceps…oh joy it’s going to leave a mark! I picked up the guidebook today (yes I know it’s Day 9 and just now picking it up) and read something tht I am going to try. Sagi says he wants us to push to failure. If you are pushing to failure, you are not pushing hard enough. I have not been doing that…but I am going to try that today!

At the end, I pushed to failure and ended up having to take a break. I did jump back in after my break and I finished.

As I was doing the workout today, I kept seeing all the big muscle guys, the question kept popping up “Why are you doing this? You don’t want to get that big?” The answer? I do want the muscle, definiton and tone. When you are building and are happy with what you look like-then stop upping your weights.

Body Beast Cardio Abs Carbs& Hot Temps

It’s in the middle of the summer and it’s hot! Make sure you do the following things during hot temperatures:

1. Drink enough water
2. Fuel up with food
3. Work out during the morning or evening because temperatures are at it’s lowest.

Today’s workout is Body Beast Cardio Abs!

This was the second time doing this program but first time using weights. My form was not correct earlier this week and I messed up my back. So I had to do some modifications.

The coolest thing I have noticed is my metabolism is kicking up. At the same time I need shift my frame of thinking from focusing so much on protein and focus more on my carbs.

Body Beast Build: Legs Check Your Ego

It’s a summer Sunday which has lots of should do’s, have to do’s and then of course “what do I want to do’s.”. Above and beyond all those things, a workout is on my calendar today. In order to get all those other to-do’s done, I have to get my workout in so I can focus.

Today is Body Beast Legs and this is the second time doing it. I keep my workout sheets beside me so I know what I did last time. The main thing that I did wrong last time was my incorrect form. My focus is to lighten up my weights so I can correct my form.

To end this, let’s talk about my ego. I am realizing that in order to correct my form, I have to lower my weights. This has to happen in order to be safe.

Body Beast: Shoulders Pushing Through Your Barriers

Day 5 is one of my favorite workouts-we are working the shoulder. I have an old shoulder injury so I am being careful but at the same time push it with re-injuring it.

You will see that I am working out with Gregg today!

If you have not noticed, I love drinking the Beachbody Kool-Aid. When I talk about a Beachbody Program, it means that I have done it.

When it comes to Body Beast, I am so excited about this program. It’s completely different and has me engaged 100%. It pushes me to get past barriers and lift more than I have ever had.

Body Beast: Beast Cardio Be the best you you can be

Today was Beast Cardio which we decided to do at our Weekly Fit Club. Are you ready for this! This workout is CARDIO with WEIGHTS-how crazy is that! I wasn’t prepared for that so we did not do it with the weights. I was able to get the moves down.

My metabolism is kicking in. I am able to actually eat. I have to be sensitive though because the calories are high in one setting between 500 to 700. It’s a lot to consume and get use to, so I am grazing until the meal is done.

I am realizing with trying to get hit the right amount of calories this one point. You have to be the best you can be! As long as you are working on developing woo you are and trying to make better choices-than you are doing an amazing things! Setbacks, mistakes and obstacles will come-but the important thing is to not give up!
