I'm a 44-year old mom of 2 boys that are 10 & 7. I built my business while working full time and have my own business with Beachbody...a company that changed my life for the best. I love to point out the obvious. People amuse and amaze me. I have a cape and tights that I typically misplace but I'll leap from the tall building anyway, and figure it out on my way down. The joy in life is the journey.

Body Beast Waistline is Slimming!

It’s Wednesday which means it’s the day after Two Work Out Tuesday!

Today’s workout is Body Beast Shoulders. It’s shorter but more intense. We are going to hammer the shoulders which I am excited about. Why? It’s the part of my body that does not hurt which will change after the workout.

I upped my weights during the workout. It’s the last day of this particular workout.

I am noticing my waistline is slimming despite the scale not changing. As long as the waist line is slimming, I don’t care what the scale says.

I have to keep going with the nutrition-it’s my weak spot.

Can you relate to that? If you have tips or motivation tips?

Insanity Asylum Strength Muscle Burns Fat!

Asylum Strength is on deck for today’s workout. Considering I just finished Body Beast, this workout should be relatively easy.

Muscles. Burns. Fat. Did you get that? The more muscle you have, the harder your body must work to do normal things. Which is why I am a sweaty mess right now after doing Asylum Strength!

Would you like results like me? Or just getting back or starting a workout-hit me up! I can help you!

Body Beast My Summary +12 pounds & 11 5 inches overall

90 Days of Body Beast…WHAT. A. JOURNEY!

This journey was very interesting especially to see my how my muscles developed.

Working on my before/after pictures. It’s difficult to see them mainly because you see where you didn’t hit the mark. Why is this? My nutrition was a struggle.

I LOVE the muscles and how strong I feel. I like how my butt is lifted and harder. My abs are hard as a rock-just need to do better with my nutrition so you can see more definition.

Sagi is a killer trainer. I like that there was no women in the video. I didn’t feel like I was competing with them or had to look cute.

Doing cardio once a week was a little different but it worked for me.

The supplements were BAD ASS. If you are going to do Body Beast, you HAVE to do the Supplements. PERIOD.

If you are looking at Body Beast-I totally recommend it if you are looking for:
1. Definition
2. Build Muscle
3. Adding Strength.

Also, make sure you dig into the nutrition guide and take the supplements.

Body Beast Fun & Funky Field Day & Life Priorities

Common Theme in my life right now: “I am so busy and stressed out, I can’t work out”. It seems a lot of people around me are saying this.

I have a BAZILLION things to do and yet one of those things is working out. Stress makes me crazier than I already am. If I don’t work out the stress gets worse.

A Tip For Setting Your Priorities: Repeat this phrase with me “Let me check my calendar and I will get back to you.” When people come and ask you to do things, instead of saying “Yes” right away, repeat the phrase above. You have to set your priorities so you can get everything done-including your workout!

For example, not only do I have my kids Fun & Funky Field Day to attend Beachbody is coming in to film Gregg. We are going out of town this weekend and on top of that I must clean my house before the Beachbody Film Crew show up. My priority are and will always be my kids. So splitting up my lunch hour and work hours so I can go to Field Day is part of setting my priorities.

Pressing play and today is Body Beast Bulk Arms.

Body Beast: Bulk Back Do not hide from you

We make silly choices from time to time. It happens to the best of us cuz it happens to all of us. It’s just the way it is.Often, when we make a mistake or misstep we hide. Withdraw. Cower in our corner bemoaning our mistake and chastising ourselves for our foolish behavior.

I don’t know what frustrates me the most: how ridiculous this behavior is or how prevalent it is. Heck, I do it, too. I know, I know…you’re shocked to learn that I’m human but it’s a truth that must be told.

Generally speaking, we all jack things up from time to time. We skip workouts. We binge on junk food. And, generally speaking, we like to know we’re not alone and that there are other human beings out there, too. You’re actually doing others a favor by coming clean when you mess it all up.

Reach out. Reach up. Contact your Challenge Group attendees when you need help. Reach out to your Beachbody coach when you fall off the wagon. The reason support is provided is because we know you’re going to need it. No shame in that game.

Beachbody (and my) mission: End the Trend of Obesity

With that as our mission, you gotta know we’re going to love you through some tough times and help pick you, dust you off, and put you back in the game.

You’ve got one shot at this thing called life. Let’s go LIVE IT.

Body Beast: Total Body #^%* Stress

Stress is a killer. Normally, I’m pretty good at balancing life and keeping perspective but, every once in a while, it does a sneak attack and takes me out. My dreams have been plentiful and horrifying, my sleep fitful, my day job stressful, I miss the heck out of my kids and have 2 more full days until I get them back, my Beachbody biz is awesome–but I want more, leadership may come naturally to some but it’s still work no matter how you cut it and leading my team of Beachbody coaches is stressing me out, my body has put on the fat & pounds (like it’s supposed to do) but it’s not coming off the way I want it to (but it is coming off), we have a road trip with the boys coming up for the Beachbody Super Saturday event in Alpena, and a film crew hanging at my house. Yeah, I’ve got stress.

But…we all do. The trick is managing dealing with it. Avoid allowing stress to snap your usual triggers–food, booze, drugs, avoiding people, and skipping working out to name a few. Talking about it, exercising, any activity that reduces your stress (knitting, gardening, kick boxing, walking, Bible, writing in your journal, cleaning, family, petting your dog, etc) are healthy ways to push that stress aside and give those elevated hormone levels someplace to go that isn’t going to set your progress back.

If you’ve ever been under stress, you know what I’m saying. I’d love to help you on your journey–your path to a better you. We do better when we know better and we can all learn from each other. I’d love to hear from you and how you handle stress and how your life is going.

Want to workout with me? That’d be AWESOME. Hit me up.
